WIPP Environmental Monitoring Results:
Based on this data, there is no evidence that radioactive or elemental constituents have been released to the environment, since WIPP began receipt of radioactive waste on March 26, 1999. The first shipment of mixed radioactive and hazardous waste was received by WIPP on September 9, 2000.
